“Hot Water” is a romantic/action /comedy thriller about a boy (Harold Lloyd) who couldn’t resist the girl (Jobyna Ralston) he bumped into on the sidewalk. They fell in love and got married! Life was good but took a turn for the worse when his mother-in-law arrived unexpectedly along with his deadbeat brother-in-law and the bratty nephew, who all wanted to go for a ride. His brand new car got smashed up, and that’s only the beginning of his troubles. Harold is fun to watch with ‘sight gags’ sprinkled all around while the
hair-raising action scenes are caught by the cameraman. Sam Taylor directed the film, and Hal Roach produced it in 1924.
