The Baroque era in the Netherlands was one of the most influential movements in art history. It also produced some of the greatest art ever made, including works by Johannes Vermeer, Rembrandt, and Judith Leyster. In this lecture, we will look at and discuss what has been called a “golden age” of Dutch painting.
