History Folks: Massachusetts Historical Society 12:30 -3:30 P.M.(includes travel time)

As the nation's first historical society, the MHS strives to enhance the understanding of our nation's past and its connection to the present, demonstrating that history is not just a series of events that happened to individuals long ago but is integral to the fabric of our daily lives.  Join the history group for a visit to the Mass Historical Society including a docent led discussion of  two exhibits, Abigail Adams: Independence and Ideals,  and "Can She Do It?" Massachusetts Debates a Woman's Right to Vote.  We will also enjoy a talk on the former, lasting about one hour.
