What our Members are Saying About Newton at Home
We want to express our gratitude to Newton at Home for their varied and extensive support to us over the past couple of years: ranging from transportation to medical appointments to trash removal. The volunteers are generous, responsive, and altogether amazing. A special shoutout to Rich Snider, who has given unstintingly of his time to do whatever we have needed. He even anticipates our needs. And to the various volunteers who delivered soup from Johnny's—and thanks to Johnny's! Newton at Home is an invaluable community resource.
THANK YOU for being there… thank you for all your help, your wonderful volunteers, your kind cards, your warm soups and special treats, from generous people in the community, for the sweets in my mailbox this afternoon… and thank you for your wonderful programing, your sustaining compassion, help, the voices of so many good people through this terrible year. So many of us are suffering from what has been called recently “isolation stress,” and NAH is a lifeline of caring and help. I wish everyone health, love, and a return to joy, in the coming year… May it be a time when
“A world of kindness shall be built…” (Psalm 89:3), and may the vaccines work... And to all who have perished in this awful pandemic, and those who will die in the new year, may their souls be bound up in the bond of life, and their memories be a blessing… and may all who mourn be comforted...Be safe, be blessed, take care. With gratitude for life, and hope, always.
Thank you all for your good wishes and your help in getting us through this together. We send the same wishes and hopes to you.
