As soon as you step inside the Edward M. Kennedy Institute, you are greeted as a U.S. Senator. You’ll interact with a variety of digital exhibits related to the Senate’s history, explore replicas of the U.S. Senate Chamber and Senator Kennedy’s Washington, D.C. Russell Senate office, and take part in a live vote on the Senate floor. During your time in the Senate Chambers you can participate in a simulated Senate session and a live floor debate on an active piece of legislation being considered by the real Senate in Washington, D.C. or experience one of the great debates in U.S. Senate history firsthand through a combination of live performances, historic film footage, and archival images. Meet at the Scandinavian Living Center for bus transportation.
