Stamps

 

  • We are actually going to learn about stamps and postal history at the Spellman Museum in Weston, Ma on the campus of Regis College.   To whet (pun intended) your interest, the museum, displays include: some of the first US stamps; a history of Rural Free Delivery; Information on the Boston Post Road; and ways that mail has been and is delivered.

 

  • Date and Time: March 15 at 10:30 am for our own tour and then time to wander the museum.  For a preview of the Museum, enjoy this video

 

  • Directions: The Spellman Museum of Stamps & Postal History is located on the campus of Regis College in Weston Massachusetts, with its entrance just south of the main entrance into Regis College.  Look for our sign.  There is parking in front and behind the building. 241 Wellesley Street, Weston, MA 02493
